Hycast brings together advanced technology, proprietary know-how and decades of experience to manufacture components that meet our customers’ demanding specifications.
Our engineers and metallurgists bring deep, specialised expertise in investment casting to every project. Through disciplined process development and robust manufacturing parameters, we ensure components are both fully functional and optimised for manufacturability.
Using advanced casting simulation software, we model solidification behaviour, predict potential defects and refine methoding before production begins. This proactive approach improves first-pass yield, reduces development iterations and shortens time to production — delivering efficient, reliable outcomes for our customers.
Every project begins with the development of a detailed 3D model of the proposed casting and its associated tooling. At this stage, we assess critical design and manufacturing parameters — including geometry, undercuts, gating strategy, material selection and overall part complexity — to ensure the component is both functional and optimised for manufacture.
Advanced casting simulation software is then used to model metal flow and solidification behaviour. This enables us to predict and mitigate potential defects before production begins, refine methoding and establish the most efficient process.
By validating the design digitally, we maximise first-pass yield, minimise development iterations and deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes from the outset.

Materials
Our components are used in diverse and often demanding environments. To meet these requirements, we offer expertise across a broad range of materials.
Materials include carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, cast iron, brass, bronze and aluminium, along with other specialised alloys where required.
Our NATA-accredited metals analysis laboratory enables us to conduct alloy verification and chemistry control in-house. This capability allows us to precisely manage alloy composition during melting, ensuring every melt meets customer specifications.
By controlling alloy chemistry internally, we ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency, while also enabling faster response times and the flexibility to deliver tailored material solutions.
